Using our state-of-the-art machinery that operates under constant ambient temperatures, we
manufacture large-scaled gear assemblies for you such as girth gears, gearwheels, pinions and pinion shafts.
We manufacture
according either to our customers’ drawings or to our measurements and our own gear-cutting calculations.
We generally offer
gear rims for the drive units of cement mills and cement kilns as welded constructions with a forged rim. In addition, we regularly use
castings (grey cast iron, spheroidal cast iron, steel castings) to manufacture items according to customer specifications.
On
request we also modify existing constructions from cast gear rims into the welded construction forms with forged rims that are standard
today. These are generally far more robust in the gear-tooth area, free from internal defects, and less expensive.
Gear-hobbing
We manufacture gear-cuttings up to Module 150 and up to an external diameter of 30,000 mm
on state-of-the-art CNC machines equipped with hard metal tools.
We mill up to Module 120 and up to a diameter of 20,000 mm in the hobbing
process, and apply the single-indexing method for larger formats.
Thanks to the combination of a state-of-the-art machinery park with hard
metal gear hobs and controlled ambient temperatures – one that is unique in the area of large-scale gear cutting operations worldwide – at the
customer’s request we can achieve documentable qualities up to DIN class 6.
Gear grinding
On request we can grind your external gear systems up to Module 60 and up to a diameter
of 6,000 mm.
Depending on the module and external diameter of the components involved, internal gear systems up to 5,200 mm can also be
ground.
We issue measurement protocols for all ground gear systems. Depending on the component, the protocols cover the criteria flank
line, pitch and profile up to DIN quality 1.
